Jun OBANA, Chairman/Representative Director
Jun is a well-recognised thought leader in the field of B2B sales and marketing. Prior to establishing Crossshift (the predecessor of 2BC) in 2013, Jun held a vice-president position at Bridge International Corp, the most prestigious inside sales outsourcing firm in Japan where he developed field-sales and inside-sales alignment models for major foreign IT companies operating in Japan. He also founded Marketing Engine, the first inbound marketing agency in Japan in 2012 where he promoted inbound marketing practices as a certified HubSpot Partner.
Earlier, Jun was an account sales manager at Tokyo Electron Device and was in charge of the Matsushita group (currently the Panasonic group).
Jun holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Shinshu University. In the winter time, he is an accomplished ski player.
Tomoaki MITARAI, President/Representative Director
Tomoaki joined 2BC as a consultant in 2014. He lends his extensive experience in strategy formulation and system utilisation to clients.
Prior to joining 2BC, Tomoaki was an account executive at salesforce.com and was in charge of mid-market accounts and enterprise accounts.
Earlier, Tomoaki was a sales manager at Recruit where he acted as an advertising sales leader and received multiple awards for his achievements in sales and for his leadership. He also held an account leader position in charge of one of the major automobile manufacturers in Japan at Hewlett-Packard.
Tomoaki was born in Kyoto and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in law from Doshisha University. He often enjoys fishing and is a strong believer that sales and marketing are like fishing.
